Most apart from one are based on sportsmen or sportswomen and apart from the Red Carpet Scottie Dog which was painted in 2019 all these paintings were created for a cancer charity exhibition called Maggie’s Art in 2018.
Inspired by Andy Murray. He is being knighted by a King Charles spaniel, therefore the King-in-waiting, Prince Charles. The 3 spectators are from top mum Judy Murray; wife Kim Sears and dad William Murray.
Grace Reid. She made history for Scotland because she was the first woman to win a gold medal in the 3 metre Springboard Competition in Glasgow at the European Championships 2018.
Hannah Miley. Her dad Patrick is her coach. She won her first senior gold medal in the 400m Long Course Individual medley European Championships in Budapest, Hungary in 2010. She turned 21 the day before.
The Queen, Queen Elizabeth 11 of Great Britain. Her favourite dog is the corgi. As at 2018 she had been on the throne for 66 years since 1952.
Andy Murray. he won Wimbledon for the 2nd time in 2016. When he won it in 2013 his clothing sponsor was Adidas and in 2016 it was Under Armour. He tied his wedding ring to his shoe lace when he was playing.
Brothers Jamie Murray and Andy Murray. The event was the Davis Cup in Tennis. They were part of the winning team in 2015 at the Flanders Expo in Ghent, Belgium. The Davis Cup had last been won by Great Britain in 1936. The team members were; Captain Leon Smith, Jamie Murray, Andy Murray, James Ward and Kyle Edmund.
