My Story

I started painting seriously in 2011 after completing a Year-long course at the Banff and Buchan College in Fraserburgh. The course, an HNC in Computer Art was half traditional art and half digital working with photoshop, flash etc. My final painting – a very large oil of the Principal of the college was bought by him and that was when I decided to start painting more seriously.

I have a diploma in Graphic Design from The College of Commerce in Aberdeen from 1979 and an Honours degree in Computing from the Robert Gordon University, 2008.

I paint a lot of cards for family and friends and when they started framing them and keeping them I decided to print some off and make cards and prints. Now I have an often changing stock of cards. The originals have been for birthdays, Christmas, Sympathy, Wedding and New baby.

I have also donated to charity art exhibitions and although I part-give the originals away I always get my costs back through the sale of cards and prints.,
